ENTREPRENEUR

Originally from Italy, Riccardo now calls Edmonton home, where he transformed what started as a few trays in his bedroom closet into a thriving business.
Strathcona Microgreens supplies hand-grown shoots, micro herbs and greens to restaurants, grocery stores, and home chefs across the city.
Determined to find a way to transform his love for plants and the outdoors, Riccardo runs his business independently using accessible vertical farming techniques.

PERFORMER

Riccardo also developed Resonate Adaptive — a groundbreaking innovation in music accessibility born out of his own lived experience.
Resonate is a mouth-operated damper pedal system that allows pianists without lower limb function to access the piano pedals through a mouth splinter.
After his injury, Riccardo was determined to playing and, over the last 5 years, has designed and developed Resonate to empower other musicians with disabilities to reclaim their craft.
